Akha Team

Though no formal census has been taken, there is an estimated two million Akha in these five nations. In 2011 the Akha Outreach Media studio was launched in association with Project Video.

Karen Team

The Karen people came from Mongolia to Burma in antiquity via the Gobi Desert. Chrestos Studio started by providing illiterate villagers, who had received Christ, with CDs of Bible readings, sermons and hymns. They partnered with Project Video.

Hmong Team

The Hmong are one of the largest minority groups in Southeast Asia, with population estimates anywhere from 7 million to 15 million.

Project Video partnered with the Asian-Hmong Bible School (AHBS) to develop the Hmong Project Video.

Karenni Team

The Karenni are people group living mostly in the Kayah State of Myanmar and throughout Northern Thailand.

The Karenni Bible School is involved in the translation of the Bible into the Karenni language. Now they are partnering with Project Video to produce Gospel movies in their own language.

Lahu Team

There are approximately one million Lahu speaking people in the world today – with 2,000 living in the United States.

In partnership with Project Video, the Thailand Lahu Baptist Convention was able to dedicate their new Lahu production center to the glory of God in Chiang Mai, Thailand on March 2012.

Myanmar Team

The Lisu people live in China, Burma, Thailand and India and have a combined population of approximately 1,300,000 people.

Now they are partnering with Project Video to produce Gospel movies in their own language.

NVLM at this moment consists of three studios spread throughout the mountainous Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) of the Philippines. Each studio is under the direction of a veteran movie maker.

2.5 billion Asians unreached = 70% of the total unreached people on earth

Project Video assists in developing video production centers in Asia that target specific language groups. Its current centers now target the LISU, KAREN, AKHA, LAHU, HMONG, IFUGAO, KARENNI and PA-O people groups, totalling more then 20 million people.

Field Director
Chinese Malaysian who grew up in Australia. She was a professional graphic designer before joining Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 2006. She has been a missionary in Chiang Mai, Thailand for four years, making contextualized gospel videos for the unreached peoples of Asia.

Christy

Communications and Media Manager
Overseas communications team and is responsible for managing our international image and online presence. Develops strategies to distribute gathered news and updates from all studios and teams to raise awareness of what we do.

Edward

Ethnic Trainer
Edward is Karen Burmese and lived in a refugee camp along the border during his teen years. He has been in Thailand for 10+ years. He has worked various jobs in media with Free Burma Rangers. Most of his experience is in music training from his past experience in church, and at home.

Eric & Doreen

US Field Directors
Eric worked as an environmental consultant for 23 years while Doreen stayed at home raising their three daughters. Eric has a MS in Hydro-geology, and Doreen has a BS in Animal Science. They were one of the founding families that started Acts 2 Church in 2006, now working with PV & Wycliffe.

Hanna

Administrator
Hanna hails from Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior, Arizona. She originally visited Project Video as a service volunteer in 2013 and loved the vision so much she returned to tackle the role of being a service volunteer host from the mission field.
